Homer Laughlin eggshell china covered sugar bowl in the Nautilus pattern the 1940s made in the U.S.A. This is one of the more ornate dish patterns Homer Laughlin made; it is one of my personal favorites. This pretty covered sugar bowl has a finial top mirroring the wonderfully shaped handles on the bowl.
Gold bands at the edges, base and handles the pattern features a floral detail of full pink roses with other cottage flowers, scrolls, and swags, the background is creamy off white. Border floral details are pink, yellow, green and blue with taupe and gold. Elegant and yet charmingly casual, perfect for a cottage décor mixing well with rose patterned china.
